Health Insurance

Johns Creek Gastroenterology participates with most major health insurance carriers including Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, etc. Please check with your member services department to verify your coverage and participation status.

Most health insurance plans do not cover 100 percent of your visit. You may be expected to pay a fee co-insurance (depending on your insurance) prior to your procedure.  Payment or co-insurance may be made with cash, check, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Master Card.

Johns Creek Gastroenterology files all necessary claims to health insurance companies for reimbursement. The patient, however, is ultimately responsible for payment of the bill.

It is extremely important that Johns Creek Gastroenterology is provided with all the information regarding the patient’s insurance as soon as possible so that the we can verify that it is in effect and determine the nature of coverage.
